Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Design and maintain scalable Azure-based data architectures integrating data from relational sources, APIs, files, and streaming systems.
2. Build, optimize, and monitor batch and real-time data pipelines using Azure-native services with reliable orchestration and error handling.
3. Transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets using efficient data modeling, business logic, and standardized transformation patterns.
4. Implement data quality checks, governance controls, security policies, and lineage to ensure trusted, compliant enterprise data.
5. Deploy and operate Azure data platforms while optimizing storage, compute performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
6. Collaborate with analytics, product, and business teams to enable reporting, BI, ML use cases, and data-driven decision making.
Requirements :
◦ Strong SQL expertise with hands-on experience in data modeling and querying large datasets; proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
◦ Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure data services and working with orchestration frameworks. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms, including data storage, processing, and analytics services.
◦ Solid understanding of data quality, security, governance, and enterprise data engineering best practices.
◦ Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree plus five years of progressive professional experience, including one year in a software engineering or related technical role.
